Maria is a first generation born American citizen. Her family escaped war and became refugees in the US. Growing up she was always told to work hard because there were many opportunities for a better life than in Asia. This resulted in Maria always having an over achiever mindset. She joined the workforce at the age of 15, working at a nonprofit in Providence and from then on, had always worked in a corporate office setting. She then realized that there was no contentment in that type of environment which led her to become one of the youngest office managers for the largest private psychiatric practice in Rhode Island from 2015-2020. She realized helping others was her calling in life causing her to pursue one of her other passions which was art. She followed that in the form of make-up and lash extensions in 2018. Maria decided that she wanted to gain more knowledge in the field of health and beauty which resulted in a career of Esthetics.
